Wireless Terminals

To use RFolution!, you must choose a Wireless terminal for which we have created a Virtual RF Simulator and driver program (the Thin Client). The terminals that RFolution! currently supports are shown below, with extra terminals being added progressively. If you have a favourite terminal, email us for advice on time to availability; we might be able to bring it up in the queue.

 
Casio DT-X8
Casio DT-X8 by ASP 		The DT-X8 series of hand-held terminals provides all the durability and performance features required for extremely demanding and tough work environments. Casio DT-X30
Casio DT-X30 by ASP 		The Casio DT-X30 comes with wireless connectivity for real-time communication and accurate positioning via GPS, and other technologically innovative components including a 2.0 megapixel digital camera with auto focus. Casio DT-X7
Casio DT-X7 by ASP 		The Casio DT-X7 is an extremely ergonomic handheld terminal with laser scanner. The DT-X7 has versatile communications, WLAN, Bluetooth and IrDA. Its contoured design makes it comfortable to hold, and quick and easy to use. And its unique shape allows for faster, more accurate barcode scanning. Denso BHT-7500
Denso BHT-7500 by ASP 		The Denso BHT-7500 has a large 26 char x 26 line LCD screen, lots of storage memory, a high performance laser scanner, and features a vibration function in addition to the LED and beeper reading confirmations. [more]
Denso BHT-300
Denso BHT-300 by ASP 		The Denso BHT-300 has the largest screen in its class, along with the ability to scan barcodes from up to 45cm away. Powered by a high capacity rechargeable lithium-ion battery and with a power-saving design, the BHT-300 will operate for up to an amazing 135 hours when reading barcodes twice every ten seconds, and even longer at lower scan rates. ASP ASPTraq Terminal
ASPTraq Terminal by ASP 		The ASPTraq Terminal uses "thin client" technology so it can be quickly programmed in Microsoft's VBScript language. Under program control, it can instantly interact with all the facilities of your network, such as printers, files, and email, yet the attractive and compact unit (W 95mm, D 190mm, H 30-55mm) occupies bench space equivalent to only a third of an A4 sheet. Extra terminals are being added progressively. Creating a Virtual RF Simulator for MS-DOS, DRDOS and Windows CE devices is straightforward as we port our existing code to the new device, and link this to a functional image of the target. While this is not a trivial task, it is not unduly time consuming, so if you have a favourite terminal, email us for advice on time to availability; we might be able to bring it up in the queue.

And don't forget you can change your RF hardware at any time, because RFolution! gives you hardware independence. Sure you might need to make some minor program changes relating to screen displays, but think of the flexibility!

You can also intermix different types of RF hardware, so you're not locked in to one brand when you need to expand your network.
